Indonesian filmmaker Ariani Darmawan is returning after 15 years away from filmmaking with her first feature, “Jani Be Good.” The drama is set for its first public screening in the Asian Future competition during the Tokyo International Film Festival’s 39th edition.
The film, whose Indonesian title is “Desember Jani,” was produced by Jakarta-based Palari. Its initial trailer has been unveiled before the Tokyo premiere. More details are expected as the story develops.
