Resident Evil Requiem Producer Explains Game’s Title, Confusing Us More
The meaning of Resident Evil Requiem's title appeared to be self-evident when it was released earlier this year. However, Resident Evil producer Jun Takeuchi's explanation for the title from the recently published Biohazard 30th Anniversary Special may be a head-scratcher for even the series' diehard fans. "'Requiem' isn't just a title chosen for its meaning of 'requiem,'" said Takeuchi via GamesRadar . "The spelling of Requiem (REQUIEM) contains not only the 'RE (response)' ... but also a 'Q (question).' In other words, this 'Requiem' presents both an 'answer' and a 'question.' I will explain the meaning of that at some point in the future."
