President Donald Trump’s administration has spent $2.9 million so far on taxpayer-funded television advertising promoting him, with placements on CNN and MS NOW despite his efforts to prevent those networks from reporting on the White House.
The advertising campaign started on Fox News and Newsmax last week. The White House has since placed ads on CBS as well as CNN and MS NOW. More details are expected as the story develops.
