Lucky Duck Games showcased its upcoming Blade Runner 2099 board game over the weekend at the Spiel Essen convention in Germany. The tabletop adaptation of the sci-fi franchise is scheduled to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter next year.
Publisher representatives confirmed that the new project will feature a distinct storyline separate from the television series of the same name. The upcoming release is designed as a narrative-driven experience set within the established cinematic universe.
More details are expected as the story develops.
