PlayStation has announced three games for its October 2026 PlayStation Plus lineup, with claims opening October 6 for subscribers across all membership tiers. The selection comprises F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. Members who still want September’s games have until before next Tuesday to claim those titles.
Developed by Codemasters, F1 25 continues the studio’s yearly Formula One racing series. Its roster features every official team and driver from the 2025 Formula One season. Alongside a career mode, the game offers My Team 2.0 for solo play. Its multiplayer offering, F1 World, puts players into competition with a group of computer-controlled drivers, providing another option beyond the single-player modes.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 brings a different style of competition to the monthly selection. The demanding extraction shooter sends players after dangerous monsters while also placing them under time pressure. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 completes the three-game October offering.
