A new PS5 firmware update has arrived, and it's upgrading the console with more than just extra stability. Firmware update version 26.06-14.00.00 offers a new tweak for the PS5 Pro console, voice chat improvements, and tweaks to longstanding features. Here's a breakdown of everything. For PS5 Pro owners, the update will now see the option for enhanced PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) turned on by default. When this is active, it will allow games to run with sharper, smoother visuals, and it also works with games that support the previous version of PSSR. If you're feeling social, you can also see who's talking when a voice chat group is active--which should come in very handy for games like Big Walk .
