Google announced Gemini 4 Argon, a new artificial intelligence model, and said it would initially make it available only to cybersecurity defenders it considers trusted. The company attributed the restricted release to the model’s capabilities.
Koray Kavukcuoglu, Google’s chief AI architect and a senior vice president at Google DeepMind, said the model can handle demanding tasks in software development, business fields including law and finance, and protection against cyber threats. More details are expected as the story develops.
