Bungie has admitted that it "lost sight" of what players loved about its games over the past few years, acknowledging that a series of broken promises and shifting promises caused the studio to lose the trust of its community. Now, the Destiny developer promises to refocus on its players, with plans to restore removed Destiny 2 content and evolve Marathon beyond its current extraction-shooter format.
