Rockstar Says You Won’t Have To Wait Another 8 Years After GTA 6 For Its Next Game

Rockstar has spent more than eight years developing Grand Theft Auto 6 , but the studio hopes its next project will arrive considerably faster. Speaking to Bloomberg , Rockstar's head of development Phil Hooker explained how the company expanded its team and developed its technology for the hotly anticipated upcoming game, and how that'll make it easier to build future releases. Hooker said the studio expects to benefit from the foundations established during the lengthy production of GTA 6. "The engine, the tools, and the team we've built during this project will allow us to do things more quickly," he explained. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQRLujxTm3c&t=5s He added that Rockstar wants to focus on expanding what it has already created rather than continually rebuilding its technology. What’s Next For Halo Under Activision? Probably Not The Endless

What likely would have been the big new enemy faction of the Halo universe, the Endless, have been fully revealed, though it's unclear what role, if any, they will play going forward. In it, Wakeford reveals a glimpse at what the future of Halo might have looked like under Halo Studios' contin

For fans of the series, it has been a long wait, as the previous entry in the series, Gears 5 , was released all the way back in 2019. Will there be another seven-year stretch between new Gears games? Gears of War: E-Day developer The Coalition doesn't think so, as the new game lays the groundwork for a quicker turnaround for new potential chapters in the IP. Speaking to the BBC , Coalition studio head Mike Crump said that E-Day provides a "great foundation" for future games, and he claimed that "the next game will not take nearly as long" to make. "What I say to myself, what I say to the team, is we just we need to focus on the things that we can control. For us that's about shipping a great game that people are going to love and I fe
