New data shared by Circana shows Marvel’s Wolverine debuted as September's best-selling game, delivering the highest launch-month dollar sales for a Sony-published game since February 2024’s Helldivers 2. PlayStation 5 hardware dollar sales also increased by 43%, resulting in Sony achieving its highest hardware dollar share in a month since May 2025--no doubt thanks to a PS5 costing more today than it did last year.
