More than 12,500 items in World of Warcraft: Forever remain concealed from dataminers as beta testing continues. An analysis by Icy Veins puts the hidden share at nearly 40% of roughly 32,000 items in the game's files. Dataminers can identify the existence of those entries and, in many cases, their possible origins, without seeing the items themselves.

The beta includes additional dungeons, abilities and a new race that players can choose. Players have also found equipment offering substantially higher spellpower at low levels and gear designed for professions, pointing to changes in both character progression and endgame play in Blizzard's old-school version of World of Warcraft. More details are expected as the story develops.
